LTS = Long Term Support
Product Support comprises all code modifications that require building and publishing new Patch Levels
for a version in order that the final user can profit from those modifications.
A Patch Level build is published in the form of a new installer package which is marked with the Patch Level number:
MM6.2.25 → matchmaker version 6.2, Patch Level 25
What does end of support mean for a matchmaker version:
End of product support for a version means that exorbyte will not modify code nor build and publish
any new Patch Levels for that version after a certain date has been reached.
After the project support has been stopped for a version:
The matchmaker installations of that particular version on customer systems will continue working as usual.
The project team still gives project support to customers that are using that particular version.
